Feedback wanted! ---------------- I am desperate for feedback on "10 Fantasy Fights". Please visit our website http://www.prankster.com/10ff/feedback.htm to give feedback, or just email to me directly at 10ff@prankster.com if that's easier. This is really helpful to me in any future versions of "10 Fantasy Fights" and future games from Merry Prankster Games. Suggested System Requirements: ------------------------------ Note that we haven't done extensive testing of system requirements; this list represents a system I think should run "10 Fantasy Fights": - Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Vista, or higher. - 1 GB system memory. - 20 MB of free hard-drive space. - A DirectX 9 capable video card. - 864x720 or better monitor. Please feel free to report successes or failures getting "10 Fantasy Fights" to run on your system, along with your system configuration. DirectX Requirements: --------------------- You must have at least DirectX 9.0c installed. Further, some older versions of DirectX 9.0c don't have some required files included. The install program will attempt to install the latest version. If for some reason this fails, I recommend that you install the latest from: http://www.microsoft.com/directx If you don't install the latest, you may get an error message that you need the latest version of DirectX when you try to run "10 Fantasy Fights". This can be fixed by installing the latest version of DirectX. License Agreement: ------------------ Please read the License Agreement for this software in the file license.txt before running "To The World Tree". If you don't agree with it, please delete this software. Credits: -------- Programming, Design, Writing, and Art - Geoff Dunbar. Some resources: I found very helpful a nice set of textures provided by Mayang Murni Adnin. (http://www.mayang.com/textures/). The license agreement of these textures: License These textures are Copyright © Mayang Murni Adnin, 2001-2006. They have all been taken by our own cameras or created by ourselves. Use: They are free to use for all uses, whether commercial or non-commercial (you may incorporate them into your derived work with no requirement to pay us any licensing fee etc). Your derived work must involve significant modification to the textures. It would be nice if you could credit us. Another helpful set of textures that I used was CG Textures (http://www.cgtextures.com/). License terms are available at that website (too long to copy), and allow for free use of the textures in game software. Audio effects licensed from IndieSFX (website: http://www.indiesfx.co.uk/). For audio effects, I use the Audiere library, available under the LGPL license (http://audiere.sourceforge.net/). For scripting, I use Lua (http://www.lua.org).
