Current Atlantis 1.x Games

Here is some information on currently running games of Atlantis based on the previous versions of the Atlantis rules.

German Atlantis

German Atlantis is based on Atlantis 1.0 (by Russell Wallace). The author and email contact is Alexander Schröder, and the web page is http://home.pages.de/~GA. Orders and reports are entirely in German. You can view the rules (in German!) on the net. If your German is good enough to understand the rules (even if you have to use a dictionary), then you are ready to join the game. Follow the instructions in the rules to do this. Turns are due every 2 or 3 weeks.

Ukranian Atlantis

Ukranian Atlantis calls itself Atlantis 1.2, and is based on Atlantis 1. As of June 15th, 1997, there are 3 games running, with the most recent accepting new players. The web pages are at http://pbem.donetsk.ua/pbem/e_atlantis.html.

Eressea

Formerly know as Atlantis 1.9, this is another version based on Atlantis 1; I believe this version is completely in German (like German Atlantis); it is based on German Atlantis 1.6 by Alexander Schröder. The web page is Eressea and the current gm and author is Christian Schlittchen. The game is running, with turns every week.

Lorenai

Lorenai was written by a former Atlantis 2.0 player, I believe the rules are quite similar. The game appears to be in the early play-testing stages, and is accepting players. The web page is at http://atrey.karlin.mff.cuni.cz/lorenai, or you can mail Jiri Klouda (the author of Lorenai) for more info, or if you want to play. There is also an ftp site for rules and other information.
